I am a Registered Dietitian and mom.. and I love all things food - cooking, eating and talking about food! I'm a former picky eater and junk food lover, and I've done my fair share of calorie counting, gaining and losing weight along the way. It wasn't until I gradually adopted a plant based diet that I was able to feel better about my own diet, health and weight. I've seen first hand how plant based diets really work.
I've worked with people of all ages, and now have two little ones of my own. I spent the first part of my career teaching nutrition to young kids and their families in schools, and the next part with adults in weight loss and wellness. During that time, I helped create the first hospital sponsored Plant Based Nutrition series in South Jersey.
I love working with people who are looking to manage, reverse, or prevent chronic disease through diet. For some people, this might mean a 100% vegan diet. For others, it might mean starting with a meatless Monday meal and going from there. Let's chat and see what works best for you!
